EKO Furniture Freight Delivery Checklist

BEFORE THE DELIVERY

  • When placing your order with us, please provide the best number the delivery carrier can reach you. Providing us with a good phone number is for us, or the freight company, to use in case of any issues finding your location or needing to re-arrange delivery on a different date.

  • Please arrange for someone to be present on or soon after the delivery day to help you move your order to its desired location (we recommend having two helpers on hand). Though the freight company will provide complimentary liftgate and curbside delivery services, the driver isn’t responsible for moving the shipment into your home or backyard.

DAY OF DELIVERY

  • Make sure your helpers are either present throughout the delivery window or are on standby to assist you with moving the packages from the curb to your backyard or home.

DURING THE DELIVERY

  • If you are home, the freight driver will give you a delivery receipt after putting your shipment at the curb.

  • Check your order carefully. Be aware that larger orders are often split into two or more pallets, and smaller items may be packaged inside larger.

  • Check the shrink wrap, pallet, and boxes for damage. If you notice any tears or dents, take photos of the damaged boxes and email us at info@ekofurniture.com.

  • If the shipment is in good condition or only one item is damaged, sign for it and let the driver go. If you are away during delivery,

AFTER THE DELIVERY

  • Unwrap the pallet and grab the packing list. Compare each item's model number—printed on the box or on a UPC sticker—to the packing list. Be aware that some items may be packed inside others.

  • Even if you won't install or use your product right away, open the boxes and inspect it. Check furniture legs, feet, and moving parts for damage. Send photos of any physical damage to info@ekofurniture.com.

  • Report any order issues within five days of delivery. If everything is perfect, enjoy your purchase!
